Hardbody™ shell
The Hardbody shell wraps from the outside of the helmet to the inside, giving a significant boost to durability compared to regular helmets. The in-mould construction sees a tough polycarbonate outer shell fused directly with the helmet's impact-absorbing foam liner. This in-mould fusion process allows Giro to optimise ventilation without compromising protection, so in-mould helmets can be both lighter and cooler than traditional helmets.
